John Eddie Williams, Jr.

Williams Kherkher Law Firm was founded a quarter of a century ago by John Eddie Williams to level the playing field for working people. John Eddie was number one in his class at Baylor University School of Law. After working for Fulbright and Jaworski in Houston, John Eddie launched his own firm. Over the years, he has worked on everything from asbestos, defective drugs, toxic torts, wrongful death and Jones Act/Maritime cases.

John Eddie is certified to practice before all courts in Texas. He has served as president of the Texas Trial Lawyers and Houston Trial Lawyers Associations, and is board certified in personal injury trial law.

John Eddie is a passionate advocate of the underprivileged, and is often recognized as one of the most generous contributors to charities in the Houston area. He is an avid pilot, and enjoys traveling around the world with his wife Sheridan.

Jim Hart

Former star quarterback at Texas Tech University, Jim is a longtime Williams Kherkher partner who has quarterbacked the firm's labor docket for more than a decade. A graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law, Jim also worked in the real estate business prior to joining Williams Kherkher in 1995.

Jim is board certified in labor and employment law, and has handled numerous Jones Act cases for Williams Kherkher. The Jones Act provides workers at sea with legal protection in case they are injured.

Jim is a member of the Texas and Houston State Bar Associations. Additionally, he is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Jim is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Western, Southern and Northern districts of Texas. Jim and his wife Susan have five daughters.
